Artist Kara Doherty sees dogs as pure consciousness. She has always felt a deep connection to dogs that inspires her to express this love through her dog collars.
Kara draws her inspiration from the Divine, nature, history, European design, and her own sense of whimsy. She combines her talents of painting, graphic design, and embroidery to create unique, wearable pieces of art for dogs.
You Had Me at Woof donates a portion of every order to animal rescue groups, including Evelyn's Place Rescue, PETA, the ASPCA, the Humane Society International and the Soi Dog Foundation. It is Kara's dream that one day all animals will be treated as sacred beings.
