The Designs

While artist Kara Irvine was volunteering at an animal rescue event, she formed a deep connection with a Great Dane named Duke. "I wanted to take him home with me, but I lived in a shoe box of an apartment..." This deep connection inspired her to combine her love of art with her love of dogs.

Kara draws her inspiration from Angels, nature, history, European design, and her own sense of whimsy. She uses her multiple talents of painting, textile design, embroidery and sculpture to create unique, wearable pieces of art for dogs.

You Had Me at Woof was inspired by the love of a rescue dog. Kara returns the love love by donating a portion of every order to animal rescue groups, including Evelyn's Place Rescue, PETA, the ASPCA, the Humane Society International and the Soi Dog Foundation.SaveSave
