Artist Kara Irvine founded You Had Me at Woof in 2012. While volunteering at an animal rescue event, she formed a deep connection with a Great Dane named Duke. This connection inspired her to begin making dog collars for the dogs up for adoption and eventually launching You Had Me at Woof.
This family-owned, boutique dog collar and accessory line is handmade in the USA using the finest eco-friendly materials. Our artist-made dog collars and leashes are inspired by nature, European design, and our own sense of whimsy. We only make products that we feel good about using on our own dogs, and we hope that you will love and enjoy our products as much as we do.
You Had Me at Woof was inspired by the love of a rescue dog. We return the love by donating a portion of every order to animal rescue groups, including Evelyn's Place Rescue (where we volunteer most weekends), Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, PETA, the ASPCA, the Humane Society International, Takis Shelter, and the Soi Dog Foundation.
